Southeast Too Much for Eagles

The Tongue River Eagles football team hosted the Southeast Cyclones Friday night in Dayton. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has a recap of the game.

The Eagles and Cyclones played to a scoreless tie at the end of the first quarter. Southeast scored a touchdown on the first play of the second quarter and added four more touchdowns before the end of the first half and the young Eagles team never recovered, falling to the Cyclones by a final of 45-0. Head Coach Steve Hanson says they will learn from their mistakes, and move on.

The loss drops the Eagles record to 2-3 on the season. Tongue River will look to bounce back Friday night at home against a very good Upton-Sundance team.

Friday night's game against Upton-Sundance will be Homecoming and Senior Night for the Eagles.
