SHS Track and Tennis Action Today / Bronc Soccer on a Roll / Rockies Beat the Nats

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams get back into conference play this week will play Cheyenne Central and East the Broncs will be on the road the Lady Broncs are at home.

Both teams have made a good jump in the standings the Lady Broncs have won three in a row and the Broncs have won four straight.

Broncs Head coach Scott Soderstrom says after as slow start the Broncs have been on a great roll the last three weeks.

And these games with Central and East are big for the Broncs.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams have their next meet today over in Gillette. Saturday they load the buses for a big invitational in Sturgis, South Dakota.

The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles teams host their track invitational Friday the Big Horn track teams will compete in the TR invite and also compete at another meet at Kelly Walsh high school Saturday.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis players resume their season at home today against Hardin, Montana.

GOLF - The spring golf schedule has the Broncs and Lady Broncs playing at a tournament in Powell Friday afternoon.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan troopers start their baseball season this weekend in Casper they will play four games against Cheyenne, Gillette, Laramie and Rock Springs Saturday and Sunday

The Troops home opener will be May 12th against Laurel, Montana.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies have won seven of their last eight games including last night's series opener with the Washington Nationals Jack Corrigan has the game wrap up.
