BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams head to Casper today for matches at Kelly Walsh high school.

They are coming off a three day road trip that saw them win eight of ten matches combined Head coach Bob Faurot says they did very well during that tough stretch of matches.

The season starting to come to a close as the state tournament is only three weeks away.

And Faurot says they made great strides this fall and he's been pleased with the progress from both teams.

They play at KW today then host duals with Powell Friday at 4:00 and Cody Saturday morning at 10:00.

Tennis Regionals are next weekend in Jackson with state in Gillette set to begin September 29th.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers compete at home for the first time this season this evening when they host a dual with Buffalo events get underway at 4:00.

They dual Riverton Friday and compete in the Riverton invite Saturday.

FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team is coming off a 62-6 win over Cheyenne South Senior Jordan Roberts ran for nearly 200 yards and six touchdowns, the school record by the way is seven touchdowns held by Scotty Scott.

The Broncs expect a more stern test when they head to Evanston for face the Red Devils Friday night. We will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM. the First Federal pregame show will start Friday at 6:30 with the kickoff at 7:00.

The Big Horn Rams are coming off a 27-22 road win at Burns and stand at 1-1 overall and will play at home Friday against the Wright Panthers.

The University of Wyoming Cowboys are 2-0 and play their first road game at Bowling Green Saturday kickoff is early at 10:00.

The Denver Broncos lost 23-20 last night in their regular season opener it was the first home opening loss for the Broncos since 2000 in their next game they host Cincinnati Sunday afternoon at 2:15.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball will be on the road Friday and Saturday for conference matches at Cheyenne East and Central.

The Big Horn Lady Rams play Buffalo tomorrow and have Wright and Moorcroft on Friday and Saturday.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles play Kaycee Thursday and have Moorcroft and Wright Friday and Saturday.

The Sheridan college Lady Generals have three on the road this week Thursday they play at Western Wyoming CC in Rock Springs.

Friday they play at Northwestern Colorado in Rangely and Saturday they play Utah's Snow college in Rock Springs.

Their next home match isn't until October 4th when they host Casper.

X-COUNTRY - he Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners run at an invitational in Douglas Friday.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers close out the regular season this week at an invitational in Cheyenne Thursday and Friday.

The Broncs have won every tournament they've played in this season and Kamrin Allen has won each event individually.

The state championships will be held next week in Riverton where the Broncs will be the defending champs.
