SHS Cross Country Set to Open 2017 Next Week / Broncos Football at San Fran Saturday / Rockies Beat the Braves

CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc Cross country teams they went through their first workout together yesterday and Head coach Art Bauers says they got a great turnout for day one he says the runners had a good off season and stayed sharp and focused on their running.

They have their first meet in Casper next week the Cross country season culminates in Sheridan once again with the state championships October 21st.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams open the regular season tomorrow they will host matches with Natrona county and Jackson tomorrow afternoon duals are scheduled for noon and 4:00.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers play their next tournament Thursday and Friday in Riverton.

SWIMMING / VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc swimmers and volleyball teams all started preseason workouts yesterday season opening competition will be on the 25th and 26th.

FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team will host the Rock Springs Tigers in the season opener next Friday the 25th kickoff will be at 7:00 pm.

Opening day is September 1st for Big Horn and Tongue River they both open at home the Rams host Rocky Mountain the Eagles host Wright.

The Wyoming Cowboys open the season at Iowa September 2nd.

LIVE FOOTBALL BROADCASTS - The Denver Broncos play their next exhibition game at San Francisco Saturday night you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 6:05.

We will again have season long live play by play coverage of the Sheridan Broncs opening night broadcast will start at 6:30 next Friday.

We will also feature Big Horn and Tongue River each week with a game of the week the first Rams game will be September 1st and the Tongue River Eagles will be September 8th.

Wyoming football can also be heard live the opening broadcast at Iowa September 2nd will start at 9:00 am.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat Atlanta 3-0 last night. They go again tonight you can hear tonight's game on sports talk 87.7 FM.
