SHS Basketball split on day one in Gillette / Broncos beat Bengals in OT / UW Hoops open MWC play Wednesday

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams opened play Monday at the Energy classic tournament bracket in Gillette against Lynwood, California.

The Lady Broncs took their opening game 53-41 and will play a team from Bismarck, North Dakota today.

The Broncs lost 66-64 on a last second bucket and will play Prairie high school from Vancouver, Washington.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos came from behind and beat the Bengals Monday night 20-17 after the win head coach Gary Kubiak addressed the team in the locker room. And here's Bronco Quarterback Brock Osweiler.

The Broncos close out the regular season at home Sunday against San Diego.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers are back in action Saturday hosting the Border war duals Billings West, Senior and Skyview will be in town to battle the Broncs, Gillette and Moorcroft, matches get underway Saturday at 10:00.

WINTER CLASSIC BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams will host the Winter classic tournament next week Thursday through Saturday.

Burns, Pine Bluffs, Lusk and Southeast come to Sheridan county to play round robin games at both schools.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers are now off until January 7th and 8th when they compete at an invitational in Gillette.

INDOOR TRACK - Indoor track practice begins at Sheridan high school Monday.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals open 2016 January 6th with conference games at home against Gillette.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls open Mountain West conference play tomorrow night against San Diego state the Pokes travel the Cowgirls are at home. We will have the Cowboys on live on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 7:30 with tip off at 8:00.
