Sheridan high school could begin random drug testing of student-athletes as early as next fall.

SHS DRUG TESTING - Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian spoke with Sheridan media sports about random drug testing this week, we asked Julian first, why testing and why now.

Julian says the program will be another helpful tool for students at Sheridan high school.

If the program is implemented it wouldn't happen until next fall and would begin with athletics first with the possibility of expanding to include all students who participate in extra-curricular activities.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams will be the hosts for the annual Sheridan Lions club tournament games will be Friday and Saturday at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00.

The Lady Generals will host Gillette, Little Big Horn and Fort Carson Academy while the Generals will host Northwest college, Little Big Horn and Rocky Mountain college.

SHS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open the season together hosting games with Green River a week from this Friday.

BH / TR BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams will open the season playing at a tournament hosted by Lusk and the Tongue River basketball teams will be at a tournament hosted by Thermopolis those events begin December 3rd.

BUFFALO BASKETBALL - The Buffalo Bison and Lady Bison will play the Broncs and Lady Broncs on December 10th. The boys game will be played in Sheridan while the girls play in Buffalo.

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys lost 72-62 to Number 11 Missouri last night in the Cancun Challenge. The pokes will finish up the tournament tonight playing Providence.
