BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - We made a stop to Sheridan high school yesterday to look into the Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball practices and talked with the coaches as they get ready for the season opener December 2nd against Green River.

Sean Yeager enters his first year as the Head coach of the Lady Bronc program and year after they made it to the 4-A title game losing in overtime to Gillette.

The Lady Broncs have three starters back and Yeager says they have started well this week.

Yeager was able to spend some quality time with the players over the off season and he says it was very successful.

And he talks about getting ready for the opener over the next two weeks.

The broncs are coming off a trip to the state tournament a year ago that saw it end in disappointment with an opening round loss to Rock Springs.

This year the Bronc varsity will be dominated by a strong senior class as they look to make the next step at advancing in that state tournament.

Head coach Mike Ibach says first the turn out on opening day was tremendous.

And Ibach says the Broncs are loaded with great senior talent and leadership.

And for the third straight preseason the basketball team has been delayed a little because the Bronc football team made it all the way to the state title game but Ibach says they'll take that every year and deal with it.
