The Hawks split two games this weekend against the Douglas Ice Cats. The first game the Hawks took 6-5.

They scored three goals in the first period in just under 2 1/2 minutes. Lane Barten scored a Hat Trick with assists from Jon Patrick Culhan and two from Shawn Konetski.

Two other goals came in the first period from John Patrick Culhan unassisted and Logan Garstad assisted again by Shawn Konetski.

The Ice Cats tied the score in the third period Shawn Konetski put the winning goal in the net with just over a minute to go with an assist from Lane Barten.

Ryan Kath Was the goalie in the net saving 55 shots.

The second game was filled with as much excitement as the Hawks loose it in the final minutes of the game 4-5.

The Hawks lead the first period with two goals one from Jon Patrick Culhane assisted by Shawn Konetski and an unassisted goal by Shawn Konetski.

The Hawks tied the game in the middle of the third with goals from Logan Garstad assisted by Collin Eisenman followed 15 seconds later with another goal from Lane Barten and assist from Shawn Konetski.

The goal was Defended by Justin Gilbert. Justin blocked 47 goals in the lose.

The Hawks are on break until January when they take on the Casper Oilers at home.
