LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team opened their season Friday with a 1-0 road win at Riverton. The Lady Broncs travel to play Rock Springs tomorrow the match will be played in Casper.

BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs opened the season with a 3-0 win against Worland Saturday at a jamboree that was a regulation game they also played two games of 20 minute halves and lost 1-0 against Riverton and ended the event with a 1-0 victory over Evanston.

The Bronc JV's host a match with Natrona county tomorrow at 4:00 the bronc varsity will have their home opener Friday against Cody the JV's play at 4:00 and the varsity at 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams competed at a meet hosted by Natrona county Saturday.

Top finishers for the Lady Broncs included Claire Korpela 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles and McKenzie Butcher 3rd in the shot put.

For the Broncs Aaron Campbell was 3rd in both the high jump and triple jump.

TONGUE RIVER TRACK - Four athletes from Tongue River high school also placed at the Casper meet. Taylor Heaps was 5th in the 400 meters and 8th in the 800 meters, Cole Jolovich was 8th in the 1600 meters and Alex Sami was 8th in the discus.

For the Lady Eagles Bekki Herman finished 8th in the shot put.

SHS WINTER SPORTS WRAP-UP - The spring sports season is just getting started it will culminate with Sheridan hosting regional track and field and the 32 team state soccer championships.

We sat down this past week to talk with Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian and we transition from winter into sports sports.

He says the school has been fortunate to have several athletes that have already signed or will be signing on to play their sports in college.

In the past year Sheridan high school has had three teams make it to championship games and all three finished as runner-ups, last spring it was Bronc soccer this past fall it was Bronc football and most recently Lady Bronc basketball.

It's has been a great last 12 months at Sheridan high school and Julian says we all have to be careful how we gauge the success of our high school teams.

WYOMING COWGIRLS BASKETBALL - The University of Wyoming Cowgirls will play their second round game in the WNIT tonight at home against Oklahoma state.

We will broadcast the game live tonight on 95.9 FM the broadcast begins at 6:30 with tip at 7:00.

LOCAL YOUTH BASEBALL - Sheridan American Legion baseball will hold their pre-season player / parent meeting Wednesday night in the cafeteria at Sheridan high school the meeting will take place at 7:00.

All Sheridan Troopers and Jets players and their parents are asked to attend.

Sheridan Babe Ruth baseball is currently taking registration for their upcoming season. They will be taking registration through April 3rd.
