The Sheridan County High School Rodeo Team represented Sheridan very well this past week at the Wyoming High School Rodeo Finals.

The Team had three members qualify for the National High School Rodeo Finals coming up July 15-21 in Rock Springs, WY. Maggie Fredrickson was crowned Miss Wyoming High School Rodeo Queen.

Jeffrey Zdziarski won the State Championship in Bareback Riding and Kylee Cahoy placed captured fourth place qualification and overall Average winner in Barrel Racing for the State Finals Rodeo.

In addition to event qualifiers for the National
Finals, Cashlee Cunningham was elected as the 2012-2013 Wyoming State High School Rodeo President; Kylee Cahoy, 2012-2013 WyHSRA State Secretary and Lorie Cahoy, WyHSRA Board Member.

Other SCHSR Members also brought home top honors and performed very well at the State High School Rodeo:

Casey Sellers - 1st place in the 1st Go Round Calf Roping & 1st place in the 1st Go Steer Wrestling & 5th place in 2nd Go Steer Wrestling,Overall Average Winner for Steer Wrestling

Brandt Ross - 7th place in the 2nd Go Round Calf Roping
Cashlee Cunningham - 8th place in 1st Go Goat Tying

Whitney Simmons - 10th Place in 1st Go Goat Tying
Shelby Mann - 4th place in 1st Go Barrel Racing, 9th place in 2nd Go Pole Bending

Kylee Cahoy - 10th place in 1st Go Pole Bending

Katy Bilodeau - 9th Place in 1st Go Pole Bending
