Sheridan college Generals Head Assistant Coach Ryan Davis has accepted a new job opportunity for the upcoming year, after helping lead the Generals to a 24-10 Mark, North Region 9 Title, and Region 9 Championship Runner-up finish in his first season with the Generals.

Coach Davis will be moving on to the University of Texas-Permian Basin and will be the Graduate Assistant with the Men’s Basketball Program next year.

UTPB is an NCAA D2 school in the highly competitive Heartland Conference, and they lost in the Conference Tournament Championship this past season, narrowly missing out on the NCAA D2 National Tournament.

Coach Davis will be an assistant coach while also working on his Master’s Degree!

Everybody at Sheridan College is thankful for Ryan’s contributions this past season and excited about his next coaching stop.

Head Coach Steve Smiley will conduct a National Search to fill the spot for next season.
