LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Lady Generals are coming off an 18 win season Head coach Frank McCarthy says it was a good year for a young team.

Looking ahead to next season the north sub region champs will get to host the region nine tournament and McCarthy says that makes next year's sub region schedule must win to get a chance to host the tournament.

As far as recruiting, several players will be back next year but the process has begun to build for 2011-12.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Generals are coming off back to back region nine runner up finishes Head coach Steve Smiley says taking away the title game loss they had a pretty good season.

And he says they are already seeing possible recruits for next year already.

HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER - The state soccer rankings are out for this week the Broncs are ranked 3rd and the Lady Broncs 3rd in 4-A both Buffalo teams are ranked #1 in 3-A this week.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs open conference play tomorrow with matches against Gillette. The Broncs will play on the road the Lady Broncs host the Camels.

The JV's will open the day tomorrow at 4:00 with the varsity set for 6:00.

Next week the Sheridan and Buffalo JV teams will play in Sheridan Monday evening with the varsity teams playing a doubleheader in Buffalo next Tuesday at 4:00 and 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK - The Sheridan high school track teams will compete this week at an invitational in Gillette Saturday.

BH / TR TRACK - The Big Horn and Tongue River track teams are also scheduled to compete in the Gillette invite.

NSI TRACK - The NSI track teams will participate in a meet tomorrow in Newcastle.

SHS GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will open their spring tournament schedule weather permitting next weekend in Worland.

MLB - The Colorado Rockies open the 2011 MLB season at Coors field Friday afternoon against Arizona. We will broadcast opening day live on 14-10 KWYO broadcast time is 1:30.
