Sheridan City Golf Championship is Next Week / Rockies Losing Streak Reaches Eight / Lady Generals Volleyball set to Host a Youth Camp

KENDRICK GOLF COURSE - Kendrick golf course will host the Sheridan city championship next weekend Saturday and Sunday July 8th and 9th.

Kendrick golf course Professional Brian James says the City championship is great tradition for local golfers.

Along with the regular adult flights they will also have flights for kids ages 9 to 13 and James says it's something new added this year to develop more interest with Juniors.

They are taking registration for the City championship through July 7th

And speaking of Junior golf the next session of Junior lessons starts Monday, July 10th and runs through the 14th.

Lessons run each day from 10 am to noon the cost for the week is 50 dollars per player and 55 dollars for non-resident players you can sign kids up by stopping in at the golf shop at Kendrick.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers head to Cheyenne for a tournament they open tomorrow night against the host team.

They will play a home Doubleheader next week on Wednesday against the Laurel, Montana Dodgers we will also broadcast the first game of that doubleheader live on 14-10 KWYO the first pitch is set for 5:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost again at San Francisco Wednesday afternoon 5-3 was the final, the road swing continues tonight at Arizona you can hear the game live on sports talk 87.7 FM broadcast time is 7:05.

SC YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team will host a high school players developmental camp next week on Friday the camp is open to all high school players Freshmen through Seniors.

It's a one day camp split into morning and afternoon sessions the cost is 70 dollars per player.
