Results From Weekend Games For Buffalo High School

Buffalo High School athletes had a great weekend overall, posting victories and not having to deal with weather-related issues.

The Bison soccer team (ranked #2) beat Douglas 8-0 Thursday night and then beat Cody 4-0 on Saturday. They are now 3-0 so far this season.

SHS Soccer in Gilette / Final Four live tonight on 87.7 FM

BRONC / LADY BRONCS SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams played a double header in Gillette Friday night the Lady Broncs beat Gillette 4-0 while the Broncs and Camels played to a scoreless overtime tie.

Both teams will be back in action next week with more conference games with Cheyenne East and Central the Broncs play on the road road.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams both finished 2nd at an invitational in Worland Thursday for their only action of the week they next competition will be in Casper next Friday at Kelly Walsh high school.

Sheridan College Volleyball spring Jamboree Sunday

The Lady Generals Volleyball team will host a spring Jamboree in the Hoffman dome Sunday.

Matches begin at 9:00 am with Sheridan playing Casper college. Matches will run all day till 5:00.

SC SPORTS - We sat down with Sheridan college basketball coach and Athletic Director Steve Smiley Wednesday and we visited about several upcoming events.

The Sheridan college booster club will host their annual golf tournament in May and Smiley expects another great turnout for that event.

The annual Wyoming / Montana all star basketball series will be held in June and Smiley says preparations are going well.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams are both 1-1 in conference play and will play one match this week in a double header tomorrow in Gillette matches are set for 3:00 and 5:00 pm.

Today we are highlighting the Lady Broncs, this past weekend they had the same outcomes the Broncs had, a huge shutout win at Cheyenne South followed by a shutout loss in Laramie where they fell 4-0.

Head coach Mallery Marshall says the loss at Laramie was tough to take but they are trying to make the best of that result.

BRONC /LADY BRONC TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams competed in Cody Saturday the Lady Broncs finished 4th the Broncs were 6th.

Head coach Art Bauers says overall it was a pretty good opening event.

And he says with weather being so unpredictable the athletes must have that urgency to get state qualifying standards meet as soon as possible.
