BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs closed out the regular season last night at Natrona County. The Broncs took the game 35-28 to end the regular season with a record of 8-1, including an 8-game winning streak. The Broncs have the #1-seed heading into the play-offs next Friday. They will host Natrona county at Homer Scott Stadium.

BIG HORN FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams played at Newcastle last night; the Rams beat the Doggies 28-14 to pick up a win heading into their play-off showdown at Greybull next Friday.

TONGUE RIVER FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles ended their season yesterday, losing to Thermopolis 47-20. The Eagles end the season with a record of 1-7.

UW / BRONCOS - The University of Wyoming Cowboys and Denver Broncos have this week off. The Pokes play their next game at Utah Halloween night, and the Broncos have a road game at Baltimore November 1st.

STATE CROSS-COUNTRY - The State High School Cross-Country Championships will be held in Sheridan today. Racing begins at 10:30 -- the first race is the Boys 2-A Championship. The Broncs will run in the Boys 4-A final at 11:40, with the Lady Broncs running in the 4-A final at 12:50.

A/C VOLLEYBALL - The Arvada/Clearmont Lady Panthers won one and lost one, and will play in the consolation bracket at their regional tournament in Wheatland.

BH / TR VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles and Big Horn Lady Rams are playing at the 2-A East Regional in Gillette. The Lady Rams advance to the title match tonight with victories over Burns and Wright. They face Pine Bluffs in the finals. The Lady Eagles' season came to an end losing two matches to Pine bluffs and Southeast.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs' season came to an end yesterday at the 4-A East Regional in Laramie with losses against Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East.
