BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs and Cheyenne Central Indians meet this afternoon in Laramie at War Memorial Stadium for the Class 4-A State Football Championship.

This is a battle of the top two teams in the league this season. The Broncs are 10-1; Cheyenne Central is 9-2. In their regular season meeting, Central took a 20-7 2nd half lead, only to watch the Broncs rally for a 28-20 victory.

We will broadcast the game for this afternoon on our sister station AM 1410 KWYO. The Pre-game Show will start at 3:00 with the kick at 3:30.

STATE FOOTBALL - The other title games today include the 3-A Final featuring Douglas against Cody, and the 6-Man Championship will have Guernsey taking on Kaycee.

In action from yesterday, Glenrock and Thermopolis squared off in the 2-A Championship. "Thermop" took the Championship 22-20. And in the 1-A Game, Lingle took on rival Southeast -- Southeast came out on top 27-20.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys play at San Diego State tonight. The game will follow the Bronc game; it will be broadcast live on KWYO, and the pre-game show will start at 7:00.

NFL - Tomorrow morning the Denver Broncos play at Washington. We will broadcast it live as well on KWYO starting at 10:00.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan College Generals opened their home schedule last night with a 78-70 win over a team of former college players. The tournament continues today with games at 3:00 and 5:00 -- the Generals will play Otero Coummunity College at 5:00.

U-W BASKETBALL - Last night the Wyoming Cowboys blew their home opener, losing to South Dakota State 77-61. They play their next game at home Wednesday against Peru State College out of Nebraska.
