Results Form Another Busy Local Sports Weekend

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Evanston 49-3 to run their record to 3-0 the Broncs were a heavy favorite Friday night and Head coach Don Julian says they went out and did exactly what they wanted to do.

This week they hit a very tough stretch of game and the opponents will be very very good with two in a row away from home.

And knowing what is coming he expects the players to raise their level of performance even more. Friday night's game at Cheyenne East is scheduled to kickoff at 6:00.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles beat Wyoming Indian 68-0 and will have a 2-0 record going into their home game with Cokeville, the game will be played Saturday morning at 11:00.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams took care of Burns 59-22 the Rams are 2-0 and travel to Kemmerer for a game Friday night.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - NSI dropped their home opener against Midwest 76-43.The Wovles play at Lingle / Fort Laramie Friday.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost at Nebraska 52-17 the Pokes are back at home Saturday against UC-Davis game time is at 2:00.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos are 1-0 and host the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon kickoff is scheduled for 2:25.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams had a good weekend the Lady Broncs split dual matches with Cheyenne East and Central and beat Laramie Saturday. The Broncs went 3-0 on the weekend winning 14 of a possible 15 matches in the three victories.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers lost a dual meet with Laramie Friday but it was tight as the Plainsmen won 93.5 to 91.5, they finished a strong third in the Cheyenne invitational Saturday

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team opened conference play at Laramie and Cheyenne South. They dropped the match at Laramie 3-0 and came back and won at Cheyenne South 3-0.

The Big Horn Lady Rams finished second in the gold bracket in the Big Horn invitational they lost against Lovell in the title match Saturday.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams hosted the Michelle Ludwig invitational Saturday the Lady Broncs were 2nd the Broncs finished 5th.

GOLF - The Lady Bronc golfers were first at the Gillette invitational the Broncs were 5th.
