Rematch: Broncs Meet NC for the 4-A Football Title Saturday / Big Horn Takes on Pine Bluffs in the 1-A Title game / Wyoming at AFA Saturday Night

2017 STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - The Sheridan Broncs will defend their 4-A football championships from the last two years in Laramie Saturday as they square with Natrona county.

The Big Horn Rams return to Laramie for the second straight year, last November they took the 2-A state title and this fall it's for the 1-A championship they face last year's Champ Pine Bluffs in the title game.

Today we continue our championship Saturday preview with Broncs Head coach Don Julian.

Since the state moved all the championship football games to War Memorial stadium in 2009 this will be the Bronc's sixth trip to Laramie winning four times including the last two Head coach Don Julian says add to that Sheridan being the smallest 4-A school should give us all Bronc supporters a piece of the program's success.

In week three of the regular season the Broncs beat the Mustangs in overtime 36-34 and for the last 11 weeks both teams have proven to be the top two teams in 4-A in 2017.

And with the title on the line Saturday with these two teams neither will give an inch to the other.
