TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will haven't played a baseball game in two weeks since a road double header sweep in Casper and they will be keeping their fingers crossed as they are scheduled to be one of the teams playing at a tournament in Gillette this weekend.

The troopers are 5-1 on the season and Head coach Ben Phillips says they are trying their best to stay sharp.

And he says so far the players have done a good job of making the team better.

Following the tournament in Gillette this week the Troopers will play a home double header with Douglas June 3rd.

EATS 4-A ALL-CONFERENCE SOCCER - East 4-A all conference soccer teams have been announced the state champion Broncs got six players on the all conference first team Cole Smith, Drew Slikker, Gabe Dahmke, Kurt Price, Hunter Reece and Colby Wollenman.

The Lady Broncs had three make the first team and four make the second team, first teamers include Nicci Kassen, Steph Sessions and Rickie Ryan second teamers are Jacey Repsis, Hartley Stewart, Noelle Golinvaux and Haily Ligocki.

All state selections are expected to be announced later today.

YOUTH SOCCER - The Wyoming state soccer cup will be played Saturday and Sunday at the Big Horn Equestrian Center.

SHERIDAN REC DISTRICT - The Sheridan Rec district had the opening day of adult softball league play rained out last night they will try it again tonight weather permitting.

LOCAL BASKETBALL - In two weeks the annual 3 on 3 Sheridan Hoop Jam will take place in Whitney Plaza and in other basketball notes the annual Wyoming / Montana all-star basketball series will be played in three weeks at the Hoffman dome and up in Billings.
