Troopers go 3-1 in Omaha / Rockies "Walk off" the Giants / 2017 Milward Simpson Awards

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have won 11 of their last 13 games and are 27-12 overall after going 3-1 at a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska they finished off the tournament knocking off Creighton Prep Sunday 8-7.

The Troops return to action at Thorne-Rider stadium tomorrow evening with a Doubleheader against Riverton the first game starts at 4:00.

Troopers Drop a game in Omaha

The Troopers are 1-1 at a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska after dropping a 5-1 decision against Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Today they play Smoky Hill From Aurora, Colorado they will close out the tournament tomorrow against Creighton Prep.

The Troopers will play their next hpme games Tuesday when they host Riverton.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 24-11 overall and have won 7 of their last 9 games including a victory in their opening game at a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Troops beat Denver. Front Range 8-4 Thursday they continue play today against Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Tomorrow they play Smoky Hill from Aurora, Colorado and close out the tournament against Creighton Prep Sunday.

Troopers Open Tournament Play in Omaha Today / Rockies Open a Home Stand with San Francisco

The Sheridan Troopers road trip to Omaha, Nebraska continues. Last night they lost to Mitchell SD in a twin bill by a score of 5-0 and 6-2. Today they open play at a tournament that runs through Sunday. They will play Elkhorn NE South from the Omaha area and Aurora CO on Saturday.

Head coach Ben Phillips says making this trip provides the team will some great competition and also a chance to take part in the festivities surrounding the College World Series.
