Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club Hosts UW Coaches in Sheridan Thursday / Rockies Drop Slugfest to the Nationals

COWBOY JOE - The Wyoming Cowboy Joe club comes to Sheridan tomorrow with their annual spring membership drive function at Black Tooth Brewing company starting at 5:30.

Wyoming football coach Craig Bohl will be hear to talk with fans, the Cowboys just finished up with spring football and Bohl talked about some of their spring accomplishments following the spring game in Laramie he was pleased for the most part after the spring game.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school girls basketball program will have a new head coach next season Jessica Pickett announced her resignation as the Lady Broncs coach this week, Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says the process to find a replacement is underway with hopes they can fill the it before the school year ends.

The Lady Broncs are coming off an especially tough season that saw this year's team miss qualifying for the state tournament, the Lady Bronc program has missed qualifying just once in the last 20 years the last time that happened was 1999.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams hosted the annual Dan Hansen invitational Saturday complete team and individual results can be seen below on the sports page.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete at a meet in Buffalo Thursday, Casper hosts the Wyoming Track Classic Friday the Track Classic is an invitation only meet for all classes with the athletes with the top times and distances this spring all competing against one another.

Bronc Soccer beats South / Lady Broncs match canceled

Bronc soccer knocks off Cheyenne South 5-1 they play Laramie today at noon the game will be played at Big Horn high school.

The Lady Broncs game at South was postponed because of snow they will play at Laramie today.

Sheridan high school hosts the Dan Hansen track invitational today events start at 10:00 am.

Sheridan Bronc Senior Blayne Baker Mulls Over College Football Offers / Bronc Soccer Hosts Cheyenne South Tonight / Dan Hansen Track Invite Opens Saturday Morning

BRONC FOOTBALL - Sheridan high school Junior Blayne Baker will be a force for the bronc football team as he enters his senior season this fall.

Baker at 6'5 and 250 pounds has had the attention of college recruiters since he picked up plenty of playing time as a sophomore on the Bronc offensive and defensive lines.

This spring Baker has received offers to play at the University of Wyoming and Montana state we caught up this Baker at Sheridan high school this week.
