High School Volleyball and Football Playoffs Start Friday / Pokes v Lobos Saturday Night / Broncos at Chiefs Monday Night

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The high school volleyball post season starts tomorrow the Sheridan Lady Broncs are playing at the
4-A East regional Laramie they open tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 against Thunder Basin high school.

The Big Horn Lady Rams will play at the 2-A East regional in Sundance they open with Glenrock tomorrow at 1:00.

The Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers open the 1-A East in Wheatland against Rock River at noon.

STATE SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will end their season next week at the Wyoming state swimming and diving championships in Gillette.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers have this week off and a week from Friday they will compete at their state meet in Gillette.

They finished 2nd behind Laramie at the East conference meet Head coach Brent Moore says the Lady Broncs had a great regular season and broke several school records on their way to finishing 2nd at the conference meet.

Regional High School Volleyball Opens Friday / Lady Generals v Casper Tonight / High School Football Playoffs Open for the Broncs and Rams Friday Night

VOLLEYBALL - The high school volleyball post season starts Friday at regional tournament sites. The Lady Broncs are playing in Laramie they open Friday afternoon at 1:00 against Thunder Basin.

The Big Horn Lady Rams will play at the 2-A East regional in Sundance they open with Glenrock at 1:00, the Tongue River Lady Eagles did not qualify for the regional.

The Sheridan college Lady Generals play their "Volley for a Cure" match tonight for breast cancer awareness month they host Casper college the match will start at 7:00 in the Hoffman dome.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The Wyoming state cross country championships wrap up the season Saturday the Broncs finished 7th the Lady Broncs were 6th in the 2-A the Big Horn Rams were 5th the Tongue River Eagles were 6th and for the Eagles Cooper Vollmer made all-state with a 10th place finish, the Tongue River Lady Eagles finished 6th.

Sheridan Head coach Art Bauers says they did have mixed results Saturday but over all both teams and a pretty good meet as he talks about the Broncs effort.

STATE X-COUNTRY - The Wyoming state cross country championships will go Saturday at the Sheridan VA the six finals get underway at 10:30 with the Boys 3-A final followed by the 2-A Boys at 11:00 and 4-A Boys at 11:30.

The first Girls final is the 3-A at noon the 2-A is at 12:30 and the day will finish with the Girls 4-A final at 1:15.

Sheridan high school Head coach Art Bauers says the course at the VA is a tremendous venue for the athletes and spectators.

The six finals get underway at 10:30 with the Boys 3-A final followed by the 2-A Boys at 11:00 and 4-A Boys at 11:30.

The first Girls final is the 3-A at noon the 2-A is at 12:30 and the day will finish with the Girls 4-A final at 1:15.

The Wyoming High School Activities Association charges admission and parking in tight so you'll have to walk a little to get to the race site.
