TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 24-11 overall and have won 7 of their last 9 games including a victory in their opening game at a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Troops beat Denver. Front Range 8-4 Thursday they continue play today against Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Tomorrow they play Smoky Hill from Aurora, Colorado and close out the tournament against Creighton Prep Sunday.

The Troopers return to action at Thorne-Rider stadium Tuesday with a doubleheader against Riverton

Troopers Open Tournament Play in Omaha Today / Rockies Open a Home Stand with San Francisco

The Sheridan Troopers road trip to Omaha, Nebraska continues. Last night they lost to Mitchell SD in a twin bill by a score of 5-0 and 6-2. Today they open play at a tournament that runs through Sunday. They will play Elkhorn NE South from the Omaha area and Aurora CO on Saturday.

Head coach Ben Phillips says making this trip provides the team will some great competition and also a chance to take part in the festivities surrounding the College World Series.

Big Horn Rams Football Off Season Training / Troopers play Two Tonight / Rockies Face the Bucs Tonight

BIG HORN RAMS FOOTBALL - We heard from Sheridan Bronc football coach Don Julian yesterday. today we visit with Big Horn Head coach Micheal McGuire.

The Rams are well into their off season training program the defending 2-A state champs finished up their team camp at Black Hills state and McGuire says they had a very good week.

Now it's full on into their weight room training for the next couple of months and McGuire says it will be the building blocks for the upcoming season.

Bronc Football Competes in Team Camp This Week / Troopers Open an Extended Road Today

SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team is in Chadron, Nebraska this week for their only team camp of the off season they went through a week of preparation last week and Head coach Don Julian says this is one of the biggest weeks of their year.

He's says it is about installing offense and defense and getting the players out on the field but it is also a time of team building.

The Broncs open preseason practice August 7th the season opens August 25th with a home game against Rock Springs.

Montana Sweeps All Star Basketball / North Wins the Shrine Bowl / Troopers hit the Road for a Week

2017 ALL-STAR HOOP SERIES - The Wyoming / Montana all-star basketball series is over for another year Montana swept all four games including two big victories to close out the series Saturday in Billings.

As they did Friday in Sheridan the Montana girls got off to a fast start leading 25-13 after this first quarter but unlike friday the Wyoming girls would not come back.

Montana took a 40-26 lead at the half and pulled away in the second half to sweep the weekend 86-60.
