Pokes win at home New Year's day / SC Hoops today at the Hoffman dome

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams will play games at home today against Malstrom air force base from Montana game times today are at 3:00 and 5:00.

Generals Head coach Steve Smiley says they are using today's games as a tune up for their big home games with Casper college.

The games with Casper college Saturday will be at 3:00 and 5:00 and we will broadcast both games live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Western state on New year's day 69-52, Freshmen Trey Washington had a game high 24 points to lead the Pokes. Wyoming is 9-4 and will begin MWC play on the road Saturday at Nevada.

COWGIRLS BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls also open league play Saturday they will be at home against the Wolf Pack.

EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles play Saturday on the road at Riverside high school.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams are off until next Thursday when they head to Riverton for three games.

RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams open up next Friday hosting games with Wright.
WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers host a dual with Riverton tomorrow the varsity matches are scheduled to start at 6:00.

The Broncs host the first annual border war duals with the three big Billings schools on Saturday. The Broncs, Riverton and Casper Kelly Walsh will dual Billings Senior, West and Skyview.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers open the new year at an invitational at Kelly Walsh high school Saturday.

INDOOR TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track season gets underway with the first day of practice Monday.
