Troopers Finish Tournament Play / Rockies Bounce San Fran / Bronc Football Camp Opens Today

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers played five games in Gillette during the annual Memorial day weekend tournament they took four close losses and broke through Monday with a 7-3 win over Laurel, Montana the Troops are now 7-10 on the season

The next home date is Sunday when they host a doubleheader with the Billings Halos the first game will start at 1:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play five games in Gillette during the annual Memorial day weekend tournament play begins tonight they open up against the home team.

The Troops next home date will be June 3rd when they host a doubleheader with the Billings Halos.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies open a weekend home series tonight with the Reds you can hear the broadcast on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM Rockies on deck starts at 6:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play five games in Gillette during a Memorial day weekend tournament their opponents will be Gillette, Casper, Jackson, Rapid City and Laurel, Montana play begins tomorrow night.

The Troopers are 6-6 on the season and coming off a split in their last doubleheader, Head coach Ben Phillips really likes this club and his young players are doing a nice job.

2018 HOOP JAM - The Sheridan high school booster club will be hosting the annual 3 on 3 Hoop Jam basketball tournament June 2nd and 3rd.

Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says that over these last few years they've tried to get student groups from the school involved in helping to host the event and use it as a fundraiser for all kinds of activities.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

STATE TRACK AND FIELD - The 2018 all class Wyoming state track and field championships wrapped up the spring sports season Saturday.

The Sheridan Broncs finished 2nd behind Laramie in the 4-A team race the Lady Broncs were 3rd.

The Big Horn Rams finished 2nd in the 2-A the Lady Rams were 10th the Tongue River girls were 15th and the boys 16th and in the 1-A the Arvada/ Clearmont girls were 15th the boys were 15th the NSI boys were 14th.

State Track Results / Rockies win at San Fran in 12 innings / Troopers Play two at Home Sunday

STATE TRACK DAY ONE - The 2018 all class Wyoming state track and field championships got underway in Casper Thursday.

Team scores after day one in the 4-A the Sheridan Lady Broncs in 2nd place the Broncs are 4th in the 2-A the Big Horn girls are 7th the boys are 3rd the Tongue River boys are 13th the girls did not score points Thursday.

In the 1-A the Arvada / Clearmont girls are 11th the boys did not score and the NSI boys are 10th.

The highlight of the day Thursday came from Liam Greenelsh from Big Horn he won the 2-A boys Long Jump.
