COWGIRLS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls lost 68-51 to Boise state in the Mountain West conference tournament championship game last night the Cowgirls are 22-8 overall and now wait for a postseason tournament bid.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys season came to and end with a 78-68 loss to New Mexico in the Mountain West Conference tournament first round the Pokes end the year with an 8-24 record.

GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals open the NJCAA national basketball tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas Monday evening against Kaskaskia, Illinois. The game will tip at 5:30 and can be heard live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls beat San Diego state 75-70 in overtime to advance to this evening's MWC tournament championship game against Boise state.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals watched the NJCAA national basketball tournament selection show Monday waiting to see if their named would be called and they didn't wait long.

The Generals were selected as one of eight at large teams to make the 24 team field that will tip off next week in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Head coach Matt Hammer said there was a lot of tension in the room until the Generals were announced as the 13th seed in the bracket.

Generals get bid to the National NJCAA Basketball Tournament

The Sheridan College Generals received an at large bid into the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament in Hutchinson,Kansas.

They will be the #13 seed and will play Monday in the first round against Kaskaskia,Illinois.

Bronc Basketball Finishes 3rd / Generals Play the Waiting Game/ UW Hoops Open the MWC Tournament

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc basketball team had to settle for 3rd place at the state tournament after a tough loss in the semi finals Friday night they found enough energy Saturday afternoon to beat Cheyenne East 73-61 to bring home 3rd place for the second time in three years.

After dropping the game with Campbell county Friday Head coach Jeff martini says it was good to see the players end their season with a victory.

WYOMING STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - The 3-A / 4-A state basketball tournament got started last night for the Sheridan Broncs and they cruised into the semi finals with a dominating performance beating Evanston 67-42.

The Broncs led 21-8 after the first quarter and had the lead to 30 in the 4th Tristan Bower led with 16 points, Sam Lecholat had 15, Parker Christensen had 14 and Gus Wright chipped in with 11.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Broncs open the 4-A state basketball championships in Casper tonight they open with Evanston the game is scheduled for 9:00 we will have the game live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

They've had a great season tho this point and have been playing really good basketball for the last several weeks and they have some unfinished business at the state tournament, here's Head coach Jeff Martini.
