High School Hoops Open the Season Next Week / Pokes at DU Tonight / Broncos at Dolphins Sunday

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan high school basketball teams, they begin the season next week at a tournament in Casper it's a three day event both teams will play four games against Evanston, Rock Springs, Jackson and Natrona county.

BRONC WRESTLING - Today we take a look at the Sheridan Bronc wrestlers Head coach Tyson Shatto has a good group in the wrestling room returning this season and says participation is good not only in his program but all programs at the high school are seeing good numbers.

The Broncs return several varsity guys this season and Shatto has a young, talented group to get ready for their first matches.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The 43rd annual Sheridan Lions club basketball classic is in the books as both Sheridan college teams swept victories over the weekend.

The Lady Generals are 3-5 overall after beating Rocky Mountain college and Williston state, Head coach Ryan Davis says the Lady Generals put together a great victory Saturday in the 94-46 blowout of Williston.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys play at San Jose state this afternoon you can hear the game on KWYO and 106.9 FM pregame starts at 2:00 with kickoff at 3:00.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The basketball Cowboys play at home tomorrow afternoon against New Mexico Highlands you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM broadcast time is 3:30 with the tip at 4:00.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Generals beat Lake Region CC Wednesday night 90-62 to run their record to 7-1 overall.

The Generals and Lady Generals are the host teams for the 43rd annual Sheridan Lions club tournament which tips off today, game times are at noon, 2:00, 4:00 and 6:00 the Lady Generals go at 4:00 the Generals at 6:00 they play Rocky Mountain college this evening and Williston, North Dakota tomorrow.

Games begin at noon today with the Eastern Wyoming women against Williston state at 2:00 the Northwest college men take on Williston.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football players, coaches and families put a cap on their historic season Tuesday evening with their annual awards banquet.

It's been a great three year run for this year's Bronc Senior class a few were on the squad that won the 2015 state title, several had roles during the 2016 state title run and they capped it of this season leading the program to the 5th state championship under Head coach Don Julian.

Game times are Noon, 2:00, 4:00 and 6:00 the Lady Generals go at 4:00 the Generals play the late games they play Rocky Mountain college Friday and Williston. North Dakota Saturday.

Nine Sheridan Bronc Football Players Named 2017 4-A All State

Nine Players from the three time defending state football champion Sheridan Broncs were named to the all-state team most at multiple positions.

Aaron Sessions all state Wide out and Defensive Back and also named the 4-A Defensive player of the year.

Blayne Baker all state offensive and defensive line and also named the 4-A Lineman of the year.

Max Myers named to both all state offensive and defensive line.

Conner Jorgenson named to both all state offensive and defensive line.
