STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan Lady Broncs finished 2nd in the State Cross-Country Championships Saturday at the Sheridan VA. For the Lady Broncs, Dana Morin was the overall champion and Lela Carpenter was 2nd. After her championship run Dana Morin. Morin and Carpenter dominated all season; Morin says that they both help each other out and that has made them tough to beat.

Head coach Art Baures says the finish Saturday was something that was anticipated all season. And with both runners being so good, they work together so well to getthese results.

Dylan Morin led the Broncs, finishing 4th overall after they finished 6th in the team race. Baures ays they were hoping for a better finish, but it still was a good day. And he says Morin ran a great race to finish in the top four.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team ended the regular season, winning at Natrona County Friday night to finish 8-1 and an 8-game winning streak. Gead coach Don Julian. The Broncs host NC in a quarter-final play-off game Friday night at Homer Scott Stadium.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams ended the regular season, winning at Newcastle Friday. The Rams open the play-offs Friday at Greybull. Greybull beat the Rams in the season opener 7-6.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles closed out their season Friday. Ron Richter has the wrap-up.

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams are the only Sheridan County volleyball team left in the post-season. The Lady Rams beat Pine Bluffs in four games to win the East Regional title; now they head to the State Tournament in Casper as the 2-time defending 2-A Champs. They open Thursday night at 7:30 against Riverside.

The Sheridan Lady Broncs, Tongue River Lady Eagles and Arvada/Clearmont Lady Panthers were all eliminated from the Regional Tournament play.
