MIKE IBACH RESIGNS AFTER EIGHT SEASONS LEADING THE BRONC BASKETBALL PROGRAM

BRONC BASKETBALL - Mike Ibach has resigned as the Head basketball coach at Sheridan school. following the Broncs 20 win season we sat down with Ibach to talk about his decision.

When Iback took over the bronc program there wasn't a whole lot of wining but was able to build the broncs into a contender the last four years and he says he's had a great time coaching the Broncs.

And he says the players put in the time and made it so
enjoyable.

The season ended at the state tournament a week and half ago with the Broncs playing in the 3rd place game the Broncs had ten seniors on this year's team and in a special moment Ibach started the five back up seniors in their final game in a Bronc uniform and Ibach says it was the only thing to do.

We will have more tomorrow as Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian begins the search for Ibach's replacement.

The Sheridan high school soccer teams opened the 2012 season going unbeaten winning all eight of their matches.

LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Broncs beat Riverton 3-1 then swept three at a jamboree in Cody Saturday. they beat Worland 2-1, Rock Springs 4-0 and Cody 2-0.

The Lady Broncs open conference play on the road this week at Cheyenne South and Laramie.

BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs beat Riverton 1-0 Friday and swept all three matches at the Worland jamboree. They shut out all three opponents beating Lander 5-0, Worland 2-0 and Cody 2-0.

The Broncs host Cheyenne South Friday evening and Laramie Saturday afternoon.

TRACK AND FIELD - The 2012 track and field season opened in Casper Saturday. The Broncs and Lady Broncs and the Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles all competed.

In the team race the lady broncs were 5th the Broncs were 6th the Tongue River girls were 14th and Eagles 10th.

There were several highlight's with Lady Bronc Katie Rotellini winning the 800 meters and the Eagle's Nate Plymell winning the pole vault and several athletes from all four teams placed in multiple events.

The Sheridan Jets and Troopers baseball coaches will hold their annual player / parent meeting Wednesday night at 6:00 at Sheridan high school.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys continue play in the college basketball invitational tournament tonight.

They play at Washington state we will have the game live on KWYO and 95.9 FM pregame at 7:30 and the tip at 8:00.
