LADY GENERALS VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team dropped a four game match against Central Wyoming in the Hoffman dome last night.

Central took the opening game the Lady Generals won game two but the Rustlers took control of the match and went onto win game three and then closed it out in game four.

Lady Generals Head coach Jennifer Wietzel says lack of consistent play hurt the Lady Generals last night.

The Lady Generals are 8-2 during this early part of the season and Wietzel says the young Lady Broncs have been playing pretty good volleyball.

And she added they just need more practice time right now to get it right.

Next up for the Lady Generals is a home match with Northwest college Saturday afternoon at 3:00.

SC BOOSTER CLUB - The Sheridan college booster club will be hosting their free fall sports BBQ for all Sheridan college supporters in a couple of weeks SC Activities Director Steve Smiley.

Smiley is also the men's basketball coach and says preseason workouts are in full swing for the Generals and Lady Generals.

FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs will be the only local team to play at home

The Broncs host the newest member of Wyoming 4-A football Cheyenne South Friday evening at 6:00

The Big Horn Rams are on the road at Burns Friday and the NSI Wolves will play at Pine Bluffs.

The Wyoming Cowboys get back into action Saturday with another home game with Texas state.

The Denver Broncos open their regular season Monday night at home against the Oakland Raiders.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams play matches at Gillette Thursday.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners compete at the Gillette invite Friday.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers have a dual in Gillette Friday.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will host their first home match Friday night against Laramie and have Cheyenne South in on Saturday.

TR / BH VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams and Tongue River Lady Eagles will play a conference match tomorrow night at Big Horn high school the varsity match is scheduled to start at 7:30.
