Lady Bronc Swimmers Complete Historic Season / State Football Saturday Action Live starting at 12:30 / Pokes at AFA Saturday Night

LADY BRONC SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers finished 2nd behind Laramie at the state swimming and diving championships today we recap the state meet and a tremendous season by the Lady Broncs with Head coach Brent Moore.

Laramie just edged the Lady Broncs out by ten points for the state title the meet came down to the final two relays with Laramie having to set two new state records to out touch the Lady Broncs who pushed the Plainsmen to the limit, Head coach Brent Moore says the girl's performance in Gillette was the best since the program won its last state title in 1985.

He says the team started the season strong wining several meets and along the way setting numerous Sheridan high school records.

And with the way the season ended it sets the stage for the program moving forward.

STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY - The Sheridan Broncs will defend their 4-A football titles from 2015 and 2016 in Laramie Saturday they face Natrona county in a rematch of last year's title game.

The Big Horn Rams return to Laramie for the second straight year last fall they took the 2-A state title and this fall it's for the 1-A championship they will face last year's 1-A champion Pine Bluffs the Hornets beat the Rams in overtime for Big Horn's only loss of the season.

Our live state championship double header will start Saturday afternoon at 12:30 with the First Federal bank and trust pregame show with Rams Head coach Micheal McGuire kickoff is at 1:00.

Following the Rams game we will start the Bronc pregame show with Sheridan Head coach Don Julian the 4-A final kicks off at 4:00 both games will be broadcast on KWYO and 106.9 FM and on our live web stream at

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Air Force in a late game Saturday night the game will follow our high school state championship football broadcasts the Cowboy pregame will start at 7:00 with kickoff at 8:15 live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos will play their next game at home Sunday night against New England the broadcast will open at 4:00 with kickoff at 6:30 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
