Lady Bronc Hoops Salvage Energy Classic Finale / Cowgirls whip UNLV / Broncos Beat Raiders, Kubiak Steps Down as Head Coach

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs won their final game at the Energy classic tournament they beat Westchester high school from Los Angeles, California 65-37 they stand at 3-3 heading into more tournament games this week.

The Broncs dropped a 51-50 decision to Las Vegas Liberty high school the Broncs are 2-4 overall both teams will play three games in Cheyenne at a tournament starting Thursday their opponents will be Casper Kelly Walsh, Green River and Rock Springs.

We will broadcast all six games live on KWYO and 87.7 FM game times will be at 3:30 and 5:00 Thursday and Friday and Saturday at 10:30 and noon.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming cowgirls beat UNLV 79-57 Saturday to go to 2-0 in MWC play Head coach Joe Legerski says it was an all around good performance for the Cowgirls.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Cowboys had turnover issues and lost at UNLV 81-75 Head coach Allen Edwards says as the season moves along they must find ways to win on the road.

The Cowboys play at Fresno state Wednesday night we will have it for you live on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time will be at 7:30.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers get back on the mat tomorrow night with a home dual with Billings West high school JV's will go at 5:00 the varsity matches will start at 6:00

EAGLES / RAMS BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles along with the Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams will resume the season this weekend at a tournament in Goshen county games will be played at Southeast and Torrington high schools 16 teams will be competing in the tournament.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers will host two meets this week they have a Pre invite meet Friday and the Sheridan invitational Saturday.

INDOOR TRACK - The SHS indoor track season starts today with the first day of practice the first meet will be January 14th in Spearfish, South Dakota.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals will get on the court this weekend the Generals will play an all-star team Friday night at 6:00.

The Lady Generals will play a game with an all-star team at the Hoffman dome Saturday at 2:00.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos beat Oakland 24-6 to end their season Sunday Head coach Gary Kubiak told the players before the game he will be stepping down the team will have an official announcement sometime today.
