Jets take two frrom Cody / Troopers finish youth camp today, host Casper Tuesday / Rockies fall to Houston, host Milwaukee tonight

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets swept Cody in a double header yesterday against Cody winning 19-8 and 7-1.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Troopers wrap up Trooper camp today, the games with Wheatland scheduled for tomorrow have been canceled so the Troops will play their next games at home Tuesday against Casper.

As Trooper camp got rolling yesterday we talked with Head coach Ben Phillips and he says Trooper camp is fun for the campers and it's also good for the troopers to interact with the young players.

Because of several rain outs the Troops have only played 14 games and Phillips says for the most part they have played well.

Tomorrow's double header with Wheatland has been canceled so they will play at home Tuesday against Casper and he says it will be nice to finally get a couple of games at home.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies to Houston 8-4, they open a home series with Milwaukee tonight broadcast time is at 6:05 on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

WILD AND SCENIC TRAIL RUN - The 23rd Big Horn Mountain Wild and Scenic trail run begins today with the start of the 100 mile event.

The 50 mile, 50K and 30K all begin tomorrow, the event wraps up with n awards breakfast Sunday morning on Grinell plaza.

GIRLS HOOP CAMP - Monday Sheridan college women's basketball coach frank McCarthy and his Sheridan college Lady Generals will be holding their annual youth girls basketball camp, the camp is open to K-12 grades.

The first session Monday will start at 9:00 am and they will take walk up registration Monday morning.
