Hoops / Wrestling take center stage next week / Cowboy and Cowgirls open MWC play Wednesday / Indoor track season opens January 4th

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play Monday at the Energy classic tournament in Gillette.

They'll open the new year playing Western conference Wyoming schools down in Cheyenne at the McDonald's classic tournament January 7th,8th and 9th.

The Broncs are 2-2 the Lady Broncs 3-1 overall and Head coach Jessica Pickett says her three seniors have a lot on their shoulders as the get ready to start conference plat in a few weeks.

And she says it's nice to be playing games next week instead of going through a series of practices before playing again.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers are off until next Saturday when they host the Border War duals at Sheridan high school.

Bronc Head coach Tyson Shatto says the broncs are off to a good start and look to be fresh for the Border War duals.

RAMS / EAGLES HOOPS - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams will host the Winter Classic tournament January 7th, 8th and 9th. Burns, Pine Bluffs, Lusk and Southeast come to Sheridan county to play round robin games at both schools.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers are now off until January 7th and 8th when they compete at an invitational in

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - Indoor track practice begins at Sheridan high school Monday January 4th.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals open 2016 January 6th with conference games at home against Gillette.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls open Mountain West conference play next week on Wednesday against San Diego state the Pokes travel the Cowgirls are at home.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos host the Bengals Monday night we will have it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM kickoff is at 6:30.
