High School Hoops Begin Conference This Week / SC Hoops Home Wednesday / Hawks Hockey Hosts Pinedale

SHS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball have wrapped up non conference play the Broncs are 8-3 overall the Lady Broncs are 4-7 they begin conference play at home this week with Laramie and Cheyenne South.

In the East 4-A this season there will be seven teams with the addition of Thunder Basin high school in Gillette and for this season only there will be six teams that make it to the regional tournament with the last place teams left out of post season play, that will change next year when the 4-A goes to a new format that will feature four school quadrants.

They host Laramie Friday game times are 5:30 and 7:00 and Saturday against South at 11:30 and 1:00 all four game will be broadcast live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Martini talked with us following last Friday's game with Billings Senior and says the boys East conference is going to be very tough top to bottom.

BH BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball basketball teams open conference play at home Friday against Sundance then at Tongue River Saturday the Lady Rams are 6-6 the Rams open conference play at 5-7.

TR BASKETBALL - The Tongue River basketball teams open conference play at Wright Friday then host Big Horn Saturday both teams have records of 2-9 heading into conference play.

A/C BASKETBALL - The Arvada / Clearmont teams host NSI Friday and play at Hulett Saturday the Lady Panthers are 7-4 overall with the Panthers at 2-9.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams host Miles City tomorrow night game times are at 5:30 and 7:30.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Utah state Saturday night while the Cowgirls host the Aggies.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will compete at an invitational hosted by Moorcroft this weekend.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will compete in duals in Casper Saturday.

INDOOR TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams will compete in Gillette Saturday.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team plays at home against Pinedale this weekend.
