Hammer Leaving Sheridan College / Gary Benson Track Results / Rox win Three Straight

SC BASKETBALL - Sheridan college is in the market for a new men's Head basketball coach as Matt Hammer is leaving to become the next head coach at Colorado State - Pueblo.

Hammer came to Sheridan college as an assistant coach in the spring of 2014 and became the Head coach later that summer when coach Steve Smiley took another coaching job at Weber state in Utah.

This past season was Hammer's best at SC leading the Generals to a 30 win season and a big into the NJCAA national tournament.

TRACK AND FIELD - Sheridan high school hosted the Gary Benson border war track meet Tuesday the Broncs took the boys team title while the Lady Broncs were second complete team and individual results can be found right now below on the sports page.

The Tongue River and Big Horn track teams will have a dual in Big Horn tomorrow.

SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams have Natrona county on the schedule tomorrow the Broncs will play in Casper the Lady Broncs host the Fillies JV's go at 4:00 the varsity at 6:00.

GOLF - The spring golf schedule has the Broncs and Lady Broncs playing at a tournament in Casper Friday

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers start their baseball season a week from Saturday in Casper they will play four games against "AA" rivals Cheyenne, Gillette, Laramie and Rock Springs.

The Troopers home opener will be Mother's day May 12th against Laurel, Montana.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies have a three game winning streak after winning at San Diego last night, Jack Corrigan has the game wrap up. You can hear tomorrow night's game with the Phillies on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM.

SRD - The Sheridan Recreation District will hold their Easter "Eggstravaganza" Saturday in Thorne-Rider park, Rec district Director Seth Ulvestad says not only will there be lots of eggs for kids they also have something special for people and their dogs.
