COACH DON MEYER - Hall of fame college basketball coach Don Meyer is in Sheridan speaking to groups this week, he started last night at Sheridan college speaking to students today he will be speaking to members of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce at the Sheridan Holiday Inn and hold a coaches roundtable discussion this evening.

Meyer retired from coaching from Northern state in South Dakota in 2010 and is in the National basketball hall of fame, he received the "Jimmy V" Espy award in 2009 following a car accident where he lost part of his right leg among other injuries in 2008, during surgery cancer was discovered.

He's spent his life not only coaching basketball but doing many speaking events and clinics for students, coaches and business leaders. Coach Meyer tells us about his message to the students, chamber and coaches this week.

And his message dealing with life issues and dealing with failure and success.

And he has another message for people who are caregivers for family members.

He is speaking this morning with chamber members at the Holiday Inn and will have his coaches roundtable discussion tonight at 6:00 also at the Holiday Inn.

FOOTBALL - - The Broncs will face Cheyenne East Friday night in Sheridan in the regular season finale they will also open the playoffs at home next week, the playoff opponent won't be known until games finish Friday night.

We will broadcast the game for you live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM the First Federal pregame show will start at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00. ACT and Sheridan college will be on hand providing the live video webcast of the game.

The Tongue River Eagles and Big Horn Rams wrap up their regular season Friday as well, the Eagles season will end with a road game at Wheatland.

The Rams are headed to the playoffs and host Newcastle Friday afternoon to determine the conference championship and who will have the home field advantage throughout the playoffs

The Wyoming Cowboys will play at Fresno state Saturday night live on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 7:30 with kickoff at 8:00.

The Denver Broncos came back from 24-0 at halftime to beat San Diego 35-24 Monday night they are off this week.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will finish the 2012 season at the state championships in Douglas Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball will head to their regional tournament it opens Friday afternoon in Gillette they will play Laramie in the first round of double elimination play.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles and the Big Horn Lady Rams will be in Cheyenne Friday to start their regional tournament at East high school.

Both teams open at 3:00 the Lady Rams play Burns and the Lady Eagles face Pine Bluffs.

The Sheridan college Lady Generals will play at Rocky Mountain college tonight and play their final regular season home dates Friday and Saturday. They host Eastern Wyoming Friday night at 7:00 and Laramie county Saturday afternoon at 3:00.
