SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals are 3-0 and now head out on the road this week to a tournament at the Air Force academy the event starts tomorrow and wraps up Saturday.

Head coach Frank McCarthy says after struggling to play well in their first two games the players took a big step in the right direction during their win Monday night.

In the past few season depth has been an big problem for the Lady Generals but it appears that has changed this year as McCarthy can now look down the bench and see they are going to have 10 players that can contribute.

They will play Fort Carson once again this week plus Air Force Prep and a team from New Mexico McCarthy says they really like making this trip to the academy and it's not just about the basketball.

And he says the games on Friday and Saturday will be a good road test especially for their freshmen.

Next week they return home for another tournament then host the Lions club tournament during Thanksgiving weekend.

The Generals are 3-0 and will play at a tournament at the College of Southern Idaho this weekend.

Their first opponent will be the 12th ranked team in the country Monroe college of Brooklyn New York Head coach Steve Smiley says their win over Western Nebraska a week ago will have the players ready to take on such a good opponent.

The next home date for the Generals will be on Tuesday, November 20th when the host Eastern Wyoming that game will be played at 6:00.

WINTER SPORTS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open the first day of practice Monday, the Bronc wrestlers will also open their season with practice Monday.

Basketball practice for the rest of our Sheridan county teams Big Horn, Tongue River, NSI and Arvada/Clearmont begin Monday as well.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play at home Saturday night against Western State the Cowboy pregame will start at 7:30 with kickoff at 8:00 live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys play at New Mexico Saturday afternoon Cowboy pregame at 12:30 with kickoff at 1:30 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

DENVER BRONCOS - The Denver Broncos play at Carolina Sunday it's an early broadcast with the pregame show live at 9:05 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.
