GENERALS / LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals swept games from Dawson community college Wednesday night.

The Lady Generals blew out the Bucs 75-42 to run their current winning streak to eight in a row.

Head coach Frank McCarthy says they had a good defensive game. And the players looked for each other and it was a total team win.

Next up is a road game at Miles City, Montana and McCarthy says they are in for a good challenge this weekend.

The Generals struggled but put away Dawson with late free throws and won 83-80. Head coach Steve smiley was not in a very good mood following that performance.

As brutal as it was the Generals have two days to get ready for a very tough road game in Miles City Saturday.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan high school basketball teams open up conference play this week. The Lady Broncs will play at Cheyenne South and Laramie while the Broncs will spend the weekend at home.

We will broadcast all four games live, tomorrow night they tip off at 7:30 the Lady Broncs on 95.9 FM and the Broncs on KWYO and Saturday both tip at 1:30 the girls on 95.9 and the Broncs on KWYO.

EAGLES / RAMS HOOPS - The basketball teams at Tongue River and Big horn get back into action this week the Rams and Lady Rams have games with Wright and Sundance while the Eagles and Lady Eagles have Moorcroft and Lovell.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers have more tournament action this week as they compete at the Buffalo Invitational tomorrow and Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers will be back on the road this weekend with an invite in Buffalo tomorrow and another invite Saturday in Worland.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams get back into action this week at an invitational meet in Gillette Saturday.

COWBOY HOOPS - The University of Wyoming Cowboys beat Air Force at the academy last night 64-53. The Pokes play CSU Saturday live on 14-10 KWYO and 95.5 FM following Sheridan high school basketball. The pregame show will start at 3:30 with the tip at 4:00.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls blasted the academy Wednesday night 98-36 Cowgirl freshmen and former Sheridan Lady Bronc Kayla Woodward had a monster night with a career high 28 points on 14-20 shooting Woodward also had 10 rebounds 5 assists and 5 steals.
