SHERIDAN COLLEGE HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams swept victories from Rock y Mountain college at the Hoffman dome Monday night.

The Lady Generals are 3-0 after blasting Rocky 97-34 five players scored in double figures with freshmen Josie Three Irons from Hardin leading the way with 21.

The Lady Generals now head out on the road this week to a tournament at the Air Force academy. Next week they return home for another tournament then host the Lions club tournament during Thanksgiving weekend.

The Generals got into a pretty good game with Rocky last night, they held a 45-40 lead at halftime and went on a 21-1 run midway through the second half and went onto win the game 92-71.

Sophomore Victor Burmudez led six Generals in double figures with 15 points.

Head coach Steve Smiley says they'll take the win even though it wasn't pretty.

And Smiley says it was up and down all night for the Generals and it was pretty typical of an early season game.

The Generals head to Twin Falls Idaho this weekend for a tournament at the College of Southern Idaho.

They will get test in their first game as they take on Monroe college of New York the 10th ranked team in the country.

The next home date for the Generals will be on Tuesday, November 20th when the host a single game with Eastern Wyoming that game will be played at 6:00.

WINTER SPORTS SEASON - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open the first day of practice Monday, Gale Smith takes over this year as the Broncs head coach.

The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will also open their season with practice Monday former Wyoming Cowboy wrestler and former assistant coach Tyson Shatto takes over the head coaching duties this year.

Basketball practice for the rest of our Sheridan county teams all begin Monday as well.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play at home Saturday night against western state the Cowboy pregame will start at 7:30 with kickoff at 8:00 live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys play at New Mexico Saturday afternoon Cowboy pregame at 12:30 with kickoff at 1:30 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play at Carolina Sunday it's an early broadcast with the pregame show live at 9:05 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.
