The Sheridan college basketball teams played home games last night with Central Wyoming and swept two tight games.

The Lady Generals had a one point halftime lead against the Rustlers and other than an early tie score in the second half they led the rest of the way for a 72-65 win.

Sophomores Fallon Lewis and Laura Pelse led the scoring with 26 and 22 points as they go to 3-0 on conference play.

The Generals had a tough night as Central lead most of the game but the Generlas fought back and tied the game up in the closing second on this shot by RJ Leverette.

That sent the game into overtime where the Generals took their first lead of the game with 3:26 to play and held off the Rustlers 69-65.

Lamont Prosser led four players in double figures with 18 points Sophomore Khion Sankey said after the game the Generals had a tough night but were able to pull it out at the end.

The Generals have struggled for in the last three games and Sankey says it was ugly but they needed that win.
