SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals swept games from Casper college Wednesday night

The Lady Generals won 62-50 after trailing 29-28 at halftime.

They used tough defense and rebounding to pull away from the T-birds midway through the 2nd half freshmen Milo Milo Nanai from Wellington, New Zealand led the scoring with 15 points with a dozen coming in the second half .

The Lady Generals have won ten in a row and are ranked 17th in the country this week and Milo says they gotten themselves in a good spot right now but still have a lot of basketball to play.

And she says the Lady Generals have become a very close knit team and that's been a major factor in their success.

The Generals led most of the way and survived a late Casper run to win 82-71. Head coach Steve Smiley says it was a great win against a very good Casper ball club.

And Smiley says the players did a great job of holding off the T-birds late run to get the victory.

Fredric Dure and Victor Burmudez had 28 and 22 points and combined to hit nine three point shots as well and none bigger than the one Dure hit at the end of the first half with an assist from Burmudez.
