TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play their season opener Sunday in Billings, they will play the Billings Halos and Belgrade, Montana.

The Jets played their season opener Sunday and several Trooper players attended the game and had to watch from the dugout and Head coach Ben Phillips says the older players are ready to get their schedule started.

This season Phillips says they are really going to work on using more of their younger players in non-conference games.

Pitching is the key to Trooper success this summer and Phillips is hopeful they can find enough arms.

And defensively Phillips says that looks to be very solid right now.

The Troopers home opener will be May10th when they host a double header with the Billings Halos.

SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer step out of conference play for one match each that will be a double header in Buffalo Friday night.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers tee it up Friday at an invitational in Powell.
TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will host their own event Saturday at the tennis courts at Sheridan high school.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost 7-6 at home vs San Diego last night extending their losing streak to five games,
