The Tongue River Eagles beat Rocky Mountain at home last night 52-44 behind senior Stephen Yellowtail's 30 points. The Lady Eagles also hosted Rocky Mountain, winning convincingly 51-21.

The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams teams both won away games Friday. The Big Horn boys, playing in the Wright Basketball Tournament in Wright, beat Glenrock 48-42 in their first game and then beat Thermopolis 73-68. The Lady Rams were at the Glenrock tourney on Friday and beat Glenrock 42 to 39.

Normative Services beat Sundance last night 72 to 61.

Buffalo beat Newcastle 51-32, and will play in Worland today. Buffalo girls team will also play in Worland.

The Arvada Clearmont Panthers were 1-1 Friday at the Little Six Invitational tournament in Rawlins. They lost to Rock River in their first game 78-56 and later beat Glendo 59-45. The Panthers have one tourney game remaining, and that will be at 10:30 this morning against Chugwater. The Lady Panthers were also in Rawlins Friday, and fell to the Little Snake River Girls 58-33. The Lady Panthers will continue tourney play this morning at 9 against Hannah Elk Mountain, and then close out play against Rock river at 1:30 pm Saturday.

WRESTLING -- Sheridan High School wrestlers 132-pounder Clay Carter and 275-pound Alex Marty are in the semifinals following action at the Rapid City Tournament yesterday. That tourney resumes today. Buffalo High School wrestlers were also competing in that tourney.

SWIMMING -- Sheridan and Buffalo athletes will compete in the Gillette Pentathlon Saturday.

SHS BASKETBALL -- The Sheridan Lady Broncs and Broncs will host a doubleheader against Riverton today with games at 2 and 3:30 pm, respectively. We'll have those games for you broadcast live on AM 1410 KWYO and 95.9 FM.
