WYO Rodeo Perf Results / Trooper Baseball Alumni day is Tomorrow / Rockies at Mets Tonight

WYO RODEO - Here are Thursday night performance winners at the Sheridan WYO rodeo in the rough stock events Casey Bruer took the Bareback riding with a score of 83.5, Ty Bruer still leads the way with an 88 from Wednesday night.

In the Saddle Bronc riding Bradley Harter had a score of 77.5 Thursday night, Taos Muncy still leads with a score of 85.5 and in the Bull Riding Thursday night Dustin Boquet scored 76.5 points, Guthrie Murray leads the way with 87.5 from Wednesday night.

WYO RODEO - The Sheridan WYO rodeo got off to a great start Wednesday night with some big scores in the rough stock events and the timed events.

Taking a look at last night's opening performance in the Bareback riding the leader is Ty Breuer from Mandan, North Dakota with a score of 88 in the Bronc riding Taos Muncy from Carona, New Mexico leads with a score of 85.5 and in the Bull riding Guthrie Murray from Miami, Oklahoma leads with a score of 87.5.

In the timed events last night K C Jones from Decatur, Texas won the Steer wrestling with a time of 5.7 seconds.

WYO RODEO - Sheridan WYO rodeo events start today at 9:00 am the fairgrounds with more slack, today is the first full day with a Native Pow Wow at 2:00 at the Sheridan Inn, the WYO carnival opens at 5:00 tonight and first performance of the 2017 WYO rodeo begins at 7:00.

Sheridan high school graduate Devan Reilly currently sits in the top 50 in the world standings in the bareback riding he sits in 44th place in the latest PRCA standings Devan will ride during tomorrow night's performance of the WYO rodeo.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are now 36-18 overall and will play two games tonight at Riverton then have the rest of the week off.

Century 21 defeated Sheridan Seed, 9-6.

Troopers Host two With Cody Saturday / Rockies v White Sox Tonight / SHS Booster Golf July 16th

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers wrap their youth baseball camp at Thorne-Rider stadium today, tomorrow they host a Doubleheader with Cody starting at 1:00.

Sunday they host two with Rapid City Post #320 also at 1:00 we will broadcast game one of Sunday's Doubleheader live on KWYO and 103.9 FM.

Head coach Ben Phillips says after so many road games this season it's been nice for the players to be able to stay home this week and play in front of the home fans.

Troopers / Rockies Post Victories / Bronc Youth Mini Football Camp Opens July 17th

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers and Laurel Dodgers got one game in Wednesday night before weather washed out game two of the Doubleheader.

The Troopers came out on top to run their record to 35-15 overall and it was a very entertaining game.

The Troops jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings but Laurel would score six times in the 4th inning to take the lead and add another run in the 5th to make it 7-5 then the Troopers bats woke up scoring three in the 6th inning and went onto the 8-7 victory.
