State Soccer and Track and Field Open Thursday / Rockies at Twins Tonight / Troopers Play two in Billings Saturday

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys are coming off an historic season in which they won their Mountain West division and played for the MWC title then a trip to the Poinsettia bowl last December all sights now are on returning Quarterback Josh Allen and the fans looking for the Pokes to be even better in 2017.

Head coach Craig Bohl says with the national spotlight now on Allen and the team the game has changed for his Cowboys.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

SRD ADULT SOFTBALL - Next week the Sheridan Recreation District opens another season of adult slow pitch softball they have leagues for co-ed teams, women and men.

Colton Thompson is the adult softball coordinator for the Rec District team registration deadline is this week.

Participation in the adult softball leagues has remained strong for the last several years and Thompson says they have leagues for all skill levels.

High School Regional Track and Field Continues today / Troopers play two in Montana today / Rockies v Dodgers Tonight

High school regional track continues in Gillette today all qualifiers meet in Casper next week for the Wyoming state championships.

The Sheridan Troopers play a doubleheader in Laurel, Montana today their next home date is May 31st.

The Wyoming state high school soccer championships will be held at the Big Horn Equestrian center next week opening round play begins Thursday.

The Colorado Rockies take on the LA Dodgers this evening you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio broadcast time is at 5:30.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer Season Ends With Losses at Regionals / Cowboy Joe Club Function Draws big Numbers / Trooper Baseball on the Road Saturday / Rockies Beat LA

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams saw their 2017 seasons end Thursday with first round losses at the East regional tournament in Cheyenne.

The Lady Broncs were eliminated by Cheyenne Central 4-0 the Broncs had an overtime tie with Cheyenne East and were eliminated on penalty kicks 3-2 was the final.

Sheridan high school hosts the state soccer championships at the Big Horn Equestrian center play begins next Thursday 32 teams will be in to compete.

Regional Soccer Starts Today / Track and Field Regionals Open Friday / Rockies Shut out the Cubs / Cowboy Joe Club Function Tonight at BTB

TRACK AND FIELD - High school track and field regional meets take place this week all the 1-A, 2-A and 4-A East teams will be competing in Gillette events start tomorrow and conclude Saturday the all class Wyoming state track and field championships will be in Casper next week.

Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says the Broncs and Lady Broncs are expecting good results over the next two weeks.

Sheridan Amateur Hockey Looking to Expand / Troopers v Oilers Wednesday Night / Rockies / Cubs Play two

SHERIDAN HOCKEY - The Sheridan youth hockey program has been working on bringing a level three amateur hockey team to Sheridan and the group is very close to getting it done.

The Sheridan group will purchase a team from Havre, Montana and relocate it to Sheridan the team would be known as the Hawks.

Dr. Brent Milner represented the group on a recent interview on Sheridan media's public pulse program, he says the Sheridan team would be from the level three league which has high school and college age players.
