HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team leaders and coaches will spend today in the Big Horn mountains as part of their preseason prep.

The Sheridan high school booster club will hold their golf scramble tomorrow at the Powder Horn and Sunday the Broncs will host their player / parent meeting at 4:00 at Sheridan high school.

Broncs Head coach Don Julian says the Broncs have a lot of good things happen the last two seasons winning the title in 2009 and runner last fall and they are doing it as one of the smallest schools in class 4-A and he says they been able to use size to their advantage.

And Julian says he never wants anyone to use the small size as excuse for not being able to compete in class 4-A.

The first day of two a day practice for the Broncs opens Monday morning as the prepare for the season opener August 26th.

The Broncs open the season at home against Cheyenne Central that game will have an early start time at 6:00.

The Big Horn Rams, Tongue River Eagles and the NSI football program will all open their two a day camp on Monday, August 15th.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - Sheridan high school volleyball coach Wendi Ruby has announced the Lady Broncs will host their one-day youth volleyball camp August 20th this youth one day camp will include instruction with the Lady Bronc team.

The camp will be held at Sheridan high school August 20th, registration is being taken at the Sheridan county YMCA. The cost to pre register for the camp is 20 dollars or 25 dollars the day of the camp.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - Cheyenne Post 6 is representing Wyoming in Billings for the American Legion Northwest Regional baseball tournament.

They dropped their opener 9-4 yesterday against Bellingham, Washington they now play an elimination game today against the Billings Royals who lost against Salem, Oregon Thursday night.

Hawaii beat Alaska 11-4 in the opener of the tournament sending them into the semi finals the other semi final team will be the Billings Scarlets they knocked off the Idaho state champs 3-1.
