Rams / Broncs Prepare for Championship Football Games / Pokes at Utah State / Broncos at Vikes

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL - The Big Horn rams will lead off championship Saturday in War Memorial stadium as they take on Cokeville in a rematch of last year’s 1-A championship game Big Horn came out on top with a convincing victory.

The rams are 10-0 going into the game and Head coach Kirk McLaughlin says this year’s squad is led by a small group of seniors and all the players have contributed to a great season.

One of the largest armed forces in the history of the world is taking to the field right now. We are talking about the 36 million hunters who stalking the mighty deer and elk in the USA.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers finished 5th at their state championships Saturday Zoe Robison made all-state in the 200 IM and took home the sportsmanship award, Alicia Thoney was 6th in diving and Larqin Duca won the inaugural special needs race,

TR Drops State Volleyball Opener / State Swimming / Diving Opens Today / Broncs / Rams Host Semifinal Football Tonight

STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles opened the Wyoming high school state volleyball championships yesterday against Sundance.

The Lady Eagles took the first game of the match but the Bulldogs went on a run to take the next three games sending TR to the consolation bracket.

They play Pine Bluffs in an elimination match this afternoon.

Head coach Brent Moore says the Lady Broncs have done the hard work and the last several days of taper for the state meet and it went very well.

Sheridan Hawks Host Military and Vets Friday Night / Generals / Lady Generals Drop Season Openers / State Volleyball Opens Tomorrow

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back on the home ice Friday and Saturday against the Missoula Bruins.

Friday night they are celebrating military appreciation night all military and veterans will get free admission into the game the team will also auction off game worn jerseys and all proceeds will go the WYO West Warrior Foundation.

Head coach Andy Scheib says they love having these special nights to raise money for worthy local causes.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Cheyenne Central Friday we will have it all live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM starting with the First Federal bank and trust pregame show at 4:30 kickoff is set for 5:00.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry says they survived to play another week and the players went right back to work prepping for Cheyenne Central.
