BRONC FOOTBALL - The football season opens for the Sheridan Broncs tomorrow night in Rock Springs we will have all the action for you live on KWYO and 106.9 FM and on-line at the First Federal pregame show starts at 5:30 with kickoff set for 6:00 live.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry says as they get ready to go tomorrow the Bronc process of preparation has stayed the same and the players are ready to get the season started.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will start their season this weekend at two events in Gillette for the last week and half they've been going through their preseason work outs but the junior high pool has been closed due to maintenance and Head coach Brent Moore says the girls have done a nice job making the adjustment.

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams open the season Friday at a big invitational in Casper.

Head coach Art Bauers says they are looking forward to a great season. And this first meet will give them a lot of feedback on their early season conditioning.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams open the regular season at Jackson and dropped both duals both teams then played at Riverton and came away with two 5-0 shut out victories they get back on the court Thursday with road duals at Casper Natrona and Kelly Walsh.

HIGH SCHOOL GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers teed it up at the Worland invite the Lady Broncs were 3rd overall with three players making the top ten Abby James was 3rd, Hannah Detmer was 9th and Libby Gardner was 10th.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams open the regular season at Jackson yesterday and dropped both duals the Broncs were shutout 5-0 the Lady Broncs dropped their dual 4-1, today they conclude the opening week of the regular season with duals at Riverton.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers tee it up at the Worland invite which starts today.

The Big Horn and Tongue River Golfers are playing in Sundance.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team opens the season next week at a tournament in Cheyenne.

SRD Board Meeting Highlights / 2018 Local Sports Season is in full Swing / Rox Drop Road Game at the Stros

SRD - There was some news coming out of the Sheridan Recreation District board meeting Wednesday, acting board president Casey Osborne announced the Rec District board will be expanding to seven members, the three new board members appointments will become official next week and the board also elected new officers for the coming year.

The board went into executive session as they continue the process to find a new Rec District Executive Director.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers finished up play Tuesday at the Gillette invitational the Lady Broncs finished 3rd led by Abby James in 5th place the Broncs were 5th with Braden James as the top Broncs finisher in 7th place. Next up is the Worland invite which starts Friday.

Bauers says the runners were ready to hit the road yesterday after a good summer of training and they got some good work done.
