BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan high school basketball teams close out the regular season at home Friday night against Natrona county game times are 5:30 and 7:00. We will have both games live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM. Next week they will play at their regional tournament in Cheyenne.

RAMS / LADY RAMS HOOPS - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams start regional tournament play at Wright high school Thursday the Lady Rams play Glenrock at 4:00 the Rams open with Lusk at 7:00.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Place Winners at the 2019 Simplot Games

Lady Broncs:

The 1,600-meter sprint medley team of Tamaelle Lawson, Aria Heyneman,Piper Carroll and Piper O’Dell was 7th.

Piper Carroll also placed in the 800 meters taking 11th place.

Broncs:

The team of Alec Riegert, Marc Wodahl,Cody Milmine and Matt Roma took first place in the 800 meter relay

The team of Matt Roma, Marc Wodahl, Cody Milmine and Alec Riegert took 2nd in the 1,600-meter relay.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Alex Garber, David Standish, Garrett Avery and Wyatt Shaw finished 3rd.

Matt Roma also placed in an individual event taking 8th in the 200-meters

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball took on Campbell county and Thunder Basin the Broncs won both the Lady Broncs dropped both games.

Lady Bronc Head coach Larry Ligocki said they were outgunned but the girls showed tremendous effort in both games.

And he says this young team has a lot of potential moving forward but a lot of hard work is ahead.

The Lady Broncs are coming off back to back good performances and Head coach Larry Ligocki says when your getting ready to take on the Gillette schools back to back having a little success going in doesn't hurt at all.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play at Gillette college tonight the Lady Generals lost 63-33 the Generals kept their current winning streak alive now at 15 straight with a 104-96 win.

They are now 26-1 and maintain the number six ranking this week in the NJCAA top 25 poll both teams play their final regular season home games Saturday against Central Wyoming games time are set for 2:00 and 4:00.

UW HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys lost to Utah state Wednesday night 76-59, the Cowgirls won at Utah state 53-35 they play at Nevada Saturday afternoon.

State Swimming and Diving Prelims Start Tomorrow / Regional Wrestling Opens Friday / SC Hoops at Gillette Tonight

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will be at their regional tournament Friday in Gillette. The Tongue River Eagles will compete at their regional tournament in Wright.

The Broncs finished up the regular season with dual wins over both Gillette schools winning the season finale against Thunder Basin winning by one point taking the last five matches Head coach Tyson Shatto says that victory jump started them into preparation for the regional tournament.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys got a much needed victory Saturday beating Colorado state in the Border war game in Laramie here's Head coach Allen Edwards.

The Pokes are 6-17 overall and 2-8 in the Mountain West Conference they play at Utah state tomorrow night you can hear the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM pregame starts at 6:30 they tip at 7:00.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls are 15-5 and still sit in 4th place in the MWC with a 7-3 record they host Utah state tomorrow night.
